Supervision Facilitator Skills

The supervision skills course supports staff in understanding what supervision is and learning the skills and qualities of being a supervision facilitator. Delegates coming onto the course should of ideally had at least 12 months practice of accessing supervision for themselves.

  • Understand the role of supervision in your setting.

  • Explore skills and qualities of a facilitator.

  • Understand the role and responsibilities of the facilitator.

  • Understand the importance of listening and communication skills.

  • Explore the importance of self-care and professional boundaries for facilitators.



Gain a holistic understanding of supervision facilitation through a blend of theory and hands-on practice. Develop your abilities in listening, communication, and facilitation to foster growth and collaboration among school staff.
